How To Setup Your Email

We are not able to provide live support and/or troubleshooting for your computer or phone.

ATTENTION iPHONE USERS

Due to a recent iOS update, you may need to adjust your email to the following secure settings:

IMAP4 993 (Secure/SSL)  /  SMTP 465 (Secure/SSL)
Incoming/Outgoing Mailservers: mail.hostedemail.com

Check your email messages using any of the following methods:

WEBMAIL

New messages are always available via webmail and can be accessed from any web browser.

MAIL PROGRAM ON YOUR COMPUTER

Use a mail program such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird to download your messages onto your computer.

TABLET OR SMART PHONE

Setup your email account on your smart phone or tablet and get your messages on multiple devices.


WEBMAIL

  • To view your webmail, enter the following URL in your web browser: https://mail.hostedemail.com/
  • Enter your full email address and password to login.
  • Webmail is recommended if you are a computer novice, if you have a group of people using the same mailbox, or if you are unable to access your messages in the usual way.

MAIL PROGRAM ON YOUR COMPUTER

  • Use a mail program such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird to download your messages onto your computer.
  • It is recommended that you save a copy of your messages to your computer, as we can not guarantee that your saved messages and contacts will always be available on the mail server.
  • Thunderbird is a free email application that’s easy to set up and loaded with great features.

TABLET OR SMART PHONE

  • It’s easy to setup your email account on your smartphone or tablet; your device should automatically guide you through the steps.
  • If you would like to receive copies of your messages on multiple devices, choose the IMAP setting for the INCOMING mail server on each device and/or choose a combination of POP and IMAP.

The mail server and port settings are listed below:

IMAP

INCOMING MAIL SERVER

• Server: mail.hostedemail.com
• Port: 143 or 993 (SSL/Secure)
• Username: full email address
• Password: email password

POP

INCOMING MAIL SERVER

• Server: mail.hostedemail.com
• Port: 110 or 995 (SSL/Secure)
• Username: full email address
• Password: email password

SMTP

OUTGOING MAIL SERVER

• Server: mail.hostedemail.com
• Port: 25, 587, or 465 (SSL/Secure)
• Username: full email address
• Password: email password


Once these settings are saved, send yourself a test message.

It’s the easiest way to check if you are sending and receiving correctly.
